Hardcore Punk trail blazers and Alternative Metal gods, Bad Brains are back and they
sound fantastic, even though they don’t break new ground in this album they come out swinging, just really pumping a lot of energy out through speakers, so here we go with my brief review.
Vocals and Lyrics: Even though H R isn’t in his prime
he still does a great vocal job in this production. 8
Instrumentation: The instrumentation is tight and
heavy, these guys really want to rock. 7
Melody and/or Structure: The songs structures are
pretty interesting, nothing to crazy. Very well crafted alternative rock, metal
and punk. 8
Sound, Production and Feeling: The album sound heavy
and loud, some pretty unrelenting guitars distortions. 8.5
Songs: It’s good from front to back with three types of
songs punkers, metal inspired and reggaestuff to mellow out. 13
The Bad: Too short
Originality: This album shows all the youngster that
Bad Brains is a force to be reckoned with. 8
